Now that I know where things go, it’s time to create the workspace and project. I start up Embedded Workbench and create a new project by selecting: Project > Create New Project…
Since my project will be written in C and is not a library, I’ll let EWARM generate an empty main.c for me:
I save the project file within the project folder I created previously:
The very next thing I do is build the empty project [Project > Rebuild All] with no settings changed. This ensures initial creation is working and prompts to save the workspace file [.eww] if this is the first project. Since the workspace can have multiple projects, I save the .eww file within the projects folder outside the individual project directories.
That’s it for the initial creation, next is to set the project options for use with the CC3200.
